A lifelong Texan, Cristina proudly calls Weatherford home, where she lives with her family in Parker County, just west of Fort Worth. With more than two decades in the mortgage industry, she brings experience, heart, and a deep commitment to serving families across Texas.
Her career in lending started in an unexpected way. While attending college and pursuing a degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice, she began working for real estate investors who encouraged her to obtain her loan officer license. What began as a way to earn extra income during school quickly evolved into a full-time calling. Though she once envisioned a future in criminal psychology or counseling, she discovered that helping families navigate home financing allowed her to make a meaningful difference every single day.
In 2004, she joined Countrywide Home Loans and immersed herself fully in the mortgage world. Over time, she realized she could combine her love for numbers, education, and helping people into a career that truly fit her strengths. She often jokes that her background in psychology still comes in handy—because guiding clients through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives requires both clarity and care.
As a loan officer since 2003, and a Sales Manager since 2018, Cristina brings leadership, experience, and refined systems to every transaction. She has invested heavily in professional development, including Tom Ferry Coaching since 2020, along with ongoing conferences, books, and industry education. She is a firm believer in lifelong learning and continually sharpens her knowledge of loan programs, customer service, communication, and process improvement.
Her approach is simple: make the mortgage experience as seamless and stress-free as possible. She prioritizes clear communication, timely responses, and proactive updates. Rather than relying solely on emails and text messages, she strongly believes in phone and video conversations to walk through numbers in detail, ensuring clients feel confident, informed, and fully comfortable with their decisions.
Outside of work, Cristina is a self-proclaimed game enthusiast—whether it’s board games, card games, or online strategy games. She enjoys time outdoors hunting, camping, hiking, or relaxing by the pool, and she loves movie nights and downtime with her family.
She is also passionate about giving back. Through ongoing support of local nonprofits serving women, children, veterans, and individuals experiencing homelessness, she remains committed to strengthening the communities she serves.
